Shipping rates based on 48 contiguous United States.

Orders are usually shipped within one to four business days. We will e-mail you with the shipping information (UPS tracking #) and total costs billed to your credit card when your order is shipped. We will not bill your credit card until the merchandise is shipped. An exception to this rule exists for special order items. If we specially order an item that is not part of the regular stocked items on our website, then we will charge the credit cart when the wholesale order is placed to our supplier.

International, Hawaii and Alaska Customers Please Note: On orders shipped outside of the contiguous USA, the shipping charges are calculated by weight per order. There will be no additional handling charge, just straight weight per box. We ship to Hawaii, Alaska and to foreign countries by US Mail. If you would like a quotation on shipping charges, please put "shipping quotes please" in the customer comments box at the bottom of the order form. We will e-mail you the estimated shipping costs before your order is sent. We have been doing international orders for many years and do so on a regular basis.

Note: We recycle boxes and packaging materials as much as possible.

Sales Tax: Orders placed from within the state of Vermont will have 6% sales tax added.

International orders (outside the US) may be subject to customs duties and taxes.

Payment Options

For those of you who prefer to purchase offline, the old fashion way; We will also gladly process your order by phone, or fax with Visa, Master Card, Discover or by mail with a money order or check! When you complete your order in the store, you can print out the shopping cart and mail or fax it to us. Just choose the print button in your web browser and it should print out OK for you.

Store Policies

We guarantee 100 % complete customer satisfaction. Any item or items may be returned within 30 days for a complete refund or replacement, not including the shipping costs, to and from. An exception to this rule would be if a food item arrived in bad condition. Then we would be willing to refund the shipping charge as well, to and from. In more than 40 years, this has only happened once, when we had a cheese wrapped in aluminum foil. The pH of the cheese dissolved the foil creating a problem. In this case we made a 100% refund of cheese and shipping costs. We discontinued selling this type of wrapping for cheese.

A exception exists for special order items. When we special order an item that is not part of our regularly listed in stock items, in the store or on the website, for special order items a refund is not possible. We will however offer for an exchange of goods for something else, should a customer be dissatisfied with a special order item. Customer pays shipping costs.

Account Information

We keep all of your account information private and do not sell it to third parties.

We do not keep credit card numbers on file and destroy them after each order. Credit card numbers can be stored digitally on our secure server, only if you register as a customer, for an account, and then only if you request that the credit card number be saved. You can have an account without your credit card number being saved, by simply checking "no" to the box with the question "Do you want us to save your Payment Information?"

We send out occational emails with discount cupons. If you do not wish to receive discount cupons, we can remove you from the mailing list.
